Mechanics - Point After Touchdown and Field Goal (2)

On this play, the posts are properly covered by the BJ and U with both LOS officials staying on the line. The referee needs to be deeper (standing near the 15-17 yard line) so he has a 45 degree angle to the kicker and holder when the ball is kicked. When we stand on the 10 yard line, we run the risk of being straight-lined by players when contact is made on the kicker or holder.
