QB Knee Down Coverage

When the QB is taking a knee, officials may move to a position that is closer than normal to be able to shut action after the
down quickly. However, both the R and U are far too close on this play...what would happen if the snap or ball is fumbled?
A step or two closer (and no more) is an acceptable adjustment to make in your intial positioning when we know the QB
will take a knee.
