Just another quick reminder that the spring sports deadline is TOMORROW! Please check out the New Officials section of our website for information to get you started. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact a Regional Supervisor who will be glad to help you or answer any questions.

The spring sports deadline is quickly approaching! The deadline to register with the NCHSAA for spring sports is December 15th.

Spring sports include:

- Baseball
- Softball
- Women's Soccer
- Men's Lacrosse
- Women's Lacrosse

If you are interested in officiating these sports for the 2020 season, we invite you to check out our "New Officials" page which contains lots of information to help you get started.

If you still have questions, please contact a Regional Supervisor. They can answer any questions and will let you know about clinics & equipment you will need. The Regional Supervisor's contact info is on the "New Officials" page as well. Clinic dates/locations and testing dates for all sports has been posted on the calendar and will be posted in the sports sections also.

This articles intent is to update you on the progress of the new SSOA website. Much of the "behind the scenes" stuff required for the new SSOA website has been completed. Those updates are technical in nature and involved getting the structure of the website in place so that it will be easy to navigate. New backgrounds and graphics for each sport are being created for the pages and will be added soon.

I am currently working on the sports sections and should be done with those shortly. I am working diligently to get those complete and I will update this article to show progress of my work. Some pages may still contain broken links. If you click a link and you are taken to a page with a purple background and some links in the middle that means you clicked a broken link on our site. Simply hit back button in your browser to return to the previous page you were on.

11-23-19 Update: Baseball section has been uploaded including pictures and videos as well as the 2019 and 2020 resource pages. I am still working on the rest of the resource pages. and will move on to the next section once that is complete.

11-24-19 Update: Baseball section updates are complete.

11-27-19 Update: Softball section updates are complete.

11-29-19 Update: Calendar Dates have been added for 2019-2020 season that have been submitted.

11-30-19 Update: Various graphics were updated across the site.

12-01-19 Update: Basketball section updates are underway. The 2019-20 resource page is live, however the remainder of the resource pages are not online. All other areas in the basketball section are complete.

12-03-19 Update: Basketball section (including resource pages) are now complete.

12-04-19 Update: The Football section updates are now underway. Most of this section is now finished with the exception being the football resource pages and some of the videos.

12-07-19 Update: The Football section is complete with exception of the video clip pages

12-10-19 Update: The Wrestling section is now complete.

12-11-19 Update: Added new downloads & graphics to the website.

12-12-19 Update: The Soccer section is complete with exception of the video clips.

12-15-19 Update: The Lacrosse section updates are underway. The section is complete with exception to the resource pages.

12-18-19 Update: The Volleyball section updates have begun.
